Miller Thanksgiving

As you can see from the pictures below Thanksgiving this year was a wonderful event. The tables and settings were lovely and the food absolutely delicious. After eating we all enjoyed each other's company. Things will be changing soon because a couple family members are moving away and a couple other's are leaving for a couple years. I am so thankful we had time together on Thanksgiving and the following days to be together.

I am very thankful for a great family that is full of love for each other - both my family and Jake's family.

More Halloween

Grandpa Dennis and baby Ryan AKA: Superman and mini-Superman!

Halloween family (minus the parents dressed up)

Just too cute of a picture!

On Sunday Jake's family was nice enough to come over dressed up and to see our boys dressed up. As you can see some of the outfits are just great.

My little Tigger

(horrible picture of me but at I have a picture with Brody for a change!)

For the first since becoming a mom almost 4 1/2 years ago I had a child who was actually interested in his costume. Needless to say I took some pictures and was amazed that he was also able to look at the camera a few times. I have also included some pictures from the fall festival and costume parade that were at his school. Halloween was always one of those holidays that would bum me out cause Brody hate costumes, didn't understand what it was, could not say trick or treat (still can't) and basically we did not participate in anything Halloween related cause what is the point. And last year that meant not participating in the costume parade with all the other students and parents. But this year Brody wanted to put the Tigger costume on and when he looked in the mirror he was so excited and happy. Brody still does not understand what Halloween is and he cannot say Trick or Treat and he actually had no interest in getting candy. The hopeful part was that he at least is at the first step of celebrating Halloween and that is the costume!!
